The LG KE850 "Prada" officially announced yesterday

LG KE850 is one of the devices which won the iF Product Design Award 2007. Featuring a full touch-control design, the new handset is the result from the collaboration between the Korean manufacturer and the Prada design team. There are no informations about this handset, except some photos and rumors about a touch screen mobile device.

This phone has a simple design, it's slim enough and the screen take the most part of the phone's front face. The Prada phone would feature a large 3" LCD touch screen display with 240 x 400 pixels resolution and would also have a 2 megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot.

This device has no keyboard because the touch screen will solve all the necessary tasks. There are just three buttons Send, End and Confirm, in the bottom of the screen and these buttons permit the accepting or resigning the calls.

In the existing photos, shortcuts for Media and Office could be noticed, so maybe the office documents would be opened and edited directly from the phone.

The PRADA Phone by LG will be available with prices starting from 600 EUR in the UK, France, Germany and Italy as of late February, 2007, followed by countries in Asia such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore from late March, 2007. The Korean version of the phone is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2007.
